Year Two
During
the second year, the
emphasis was on implementation of working prototypes in the areas of home
personalization (Personal Information Management System, Java
Cell Phone), home security (Safe at Home / Passive Sensors,
Keyless Door / RFID, Password Free Computer / RFID)
and home extension (Streaming Music, Email and GPS Data to the Home
and Car)
Self-Administered Therapy System

Student: Nasser Al Sheriff
Introduction and Application
4 functions in on system:
- Light Detector
- Contact Detector
- Motion Detector
- Pressure Detector
Make a security system that would protect any valuable part of the house.
Each detector can be used in different part of the house for different purposes.
- Light detector can be placed in a cabinet or a drawer.
- Contact detector can be placed on a door handle.
- Motion detector can trigger any motion in the house or the backyard.
- Pressure detector can be placed under a doormat.
- All of these sensors can trigger an action such as a light or a video camera, etc.
