Cell Phone), home security (Safe at Home / Passive Sensors,
Keyless Door / RFID, Password Free Computer / RFID)
and home extension (Streaming Music, Email and GPS Data to the Home

Therapy
System Student:
Ben Rubinger The
Self-Administered Physical Therapy System allows patients that have been
prescribed physical therapy regimens as a result of hip replacement
surgery to perform their therapy safely by themselves while providing
information to their physician. Interface The
physician remotely accesses the therapy computer through the Internet to
set constraints of the therapy: -
How many repetitions to perform per session -
How high and how low to move the leg for a repetition -
Several alert conditions including lifting the leg too high and moving the
leg too fast
Therapy The
patient connects sensors to their waist, hip, and leg, in addition to a
vibro-tactile feedback device. The
patient then logs into the therapy computer. All
results are logged and accessible to the doctor over the Internet after
